Visited Flavio based upon a local resident's suggestion and needless to say it was spot on. Immediately upon entering we were promptly greeted and sat at our reservation time. There is plenty of options from tables, booths, and bar side. There's also a plethora of wines to choose from and the Cabernet was amazing. As far as the appetizers the bruschetta was one of the best I've ever had and the garlic bread was phenomenal too. For dinner I had the chicken Parmesan (that's not how it's listed on the menu) and swapped the marina sauce out for a spicy tomato sauce. The chicken was lightly breaded and still crispy and juicy: it was full of flavor. The pasta was super flavorful too and cooked to perfection. I think switching the pasta sauce slightly really brought this over the top. However I have never had their marina sauce with pasta so I could be biased. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again when back in DC.

An awesome lunch after a day of touring DC... Flavio was recommended by our tour guide (shout out to Alan at Concierge Tours), and he even called ahead to make sure we were taken care of. This place is off the beaten path in Georgetown, but it's honestly a must try. The food was all amazing and the owner, Moose, took amazing care of us. The restaurant has a cool casual vibe. We started with the calamari and bruschetta (amazing - and I don't love raw tomatoes), both were fantastic. Entrees were veal piccata, chicken fettuccini Alfredo and the lobster diavolo... all were awesome. Pastas were all cooked perfectly, and all the seasoning were perfect. Easily one of the best alfredo's any of us have ever had. At the end we had the limoncello cake and tiramisu, both were stand out fantastic!! Highly recommend this place and definitely will be back on our next trip to DC!

Our time at Flavio was really nice. We came on a random date night. Our server was Gamy. He was really nice very attentive very kind and gave great suggestions from the menu as well. The food was great. We didn't wait long. We actually got seated before our reservation time so that was really nice too.

So we decided to check this place out since we didn't have reservations at the other place. The staff was quite friendly and welcoming. They had the football game on the tv in the bar and I was really looking forward to the chicken piccata. I wasn't a total fan but I will say I am picky about the thickness of the chicken and this was too thick. It wasn't bad, per se, just not my liking. My husband enjoyed it and the side of pasta was ok, not homemade, but the lemon sauce on it was good. Give it a try, you might like it! The staff is super kind and it's a warm place.

I'm in love with the meatball.... I dream of this... Amazing! This was the star of the show. We also got bruschetta, and shared desserts! I myself got the ricotta gnocchi and enjoyed every bite. My only complaint is that we came in at sunset so the lights inside weren't on yet, so it was darrrkkkk! I couldn't see very well... but I'm sure this was situational.

My partner and I tried this place on a whim on a Sunday night. It was pretty busy but we were seated at the bar and everything came quickly. The bartender was so sweet. The wild mushroom ravioli was delicious!!
